Mystery in the Indian Restaurant

Sully of Monster's Inc fame is in a big green yard
He has a sort of transparent tablet device
When he pushes a button, it releases a holographic ball
that bounces down the yard.
He's playing with a child--not Boo
But a little boy with whipped cream on his face, who giddily chases the ball.

Suddenly, the ball starts releasing without Sully doing anything.
He holds the tablet, helpless, and watches through it as
the ball shoots out and hits the child in the face
(and although it's just a hologram, it appears to hurt).

Again and again it shoots out, until the boy falls over and lies still.
Then it hits...someone else...a child or a dog...until that one, too, is dead.

Sully stands horrified, in shock. Luckily, Mike Wazowski arrives
and pulls him away.
They drive off--
they must figure out what is wrong with the hologram machine
but until then, they must keep Sully from getting caught.

They arrive at an Indian restaurant. The smiling host outside
tells them it's full, no open tables.
But they think that they can get answers here.
They walk around to a booth on the other side, like a box office,
Where an Indian woman smiles mysteriously, disappears for a moment,
and then opens the door for them.

The entire restaurant has heavy hanging draperies and curtains,
so that each old wooden table is almost completely seperate from the others.
Mike and Sully sit down. Diagonal from them is a table of young men.
Mike's eye keeps getting drawn to one of them, who seems drunk
but keeps looking over knowingly. Eventually he marches over.

"Look, I've seen Disney movies before, I know how this goes.
You have some valuable information for me.
Now spill."

The man shrugs with blank amusement. "You want to see a trick?"
Mike folds his arms and nods as Sully comes over. Maybe this is
what they're here for.
The man and the one beside them pull out cans of whipped cream
and start spraying them in their mouths/on their faces.
Sully is reminded too strongly of the boy who died--Mike urges him away
and stays. But the men are just reenacting the Animal House
"I'm a zit" scene. No help there.

Now I am in a house where the Indian woman lives. She is younger than before,
Wearing a yellow t-shirt and sitting in her room on the computer.
I am in the living room with my guy, who apparently rents a room here.
We're watching TV. He asks if I've taken a shower
and I say no, not yet. "You sure?" "Yes!"
But then I realize I have wet hair and a wet towel wrapped around me
over my clothes. "Oh, maybe I did," rueful grin.

We go to Coldstone Creamery. I'm excited to find a dairy-free, tutti-frutti
Jelly Belly flavored sorbet, and get them to mix M&Ms in.
We sit at an outdoor table with four other people, at least two of them friends of mine
from high school.
I look beside me, look away to tell him something, then do a double-take--
Beside me is a girl I haven't seen since the seventh grade, one of my oldest best friends.
She looks the same, but older,
and is just as excited to see me.
